ENG - 230 Selected Topics in Literature ENG - 230 Selected Topics in Literature 3 Credit(s) This course introduces the function of narrative and examines narrative method in a variety of genres such as poetry, fiction, drama, biography, autobiography, essay, film, and textbook. The focus of study will vary according to instructor interest and may include themes such as love and sex, war, crime, death, family, or social justice. Students will be introduced to narratology and will examine the ways in which narrative structures shape understanding of the self and the world.
