FIN - 106 Art History and Visual Culture: Special Topics FIN - 106 Art History and Visual Culture: Special Topics 3 Credit(s) This special topics course examines specific historical movements and the impacts to the development of art and architecture through the lens of contemporary visual culture. The course content will be shaped by a thematic concept and will address questions of genre, style and influence within an art historical, socio-political and cultural context. Students will analyze how cultural ideologies, technologies and practices shape visual language and still influence contemporary culture today.
