This course begins with a rigorous safety and environmental focus that is ongoing throughout. The students will begin to apply industry tooling and equipment usage practices, while working with fasteners, fittings, lubricants, bearings, seals, and performing various lifting and rigging exercises. Students will be guided through common mechanical trades expectations that include practices relevant to documentation, diagnostic procedures, communication, and mathematics.
