IPH - 201 Island Pre-Health III: Social Justice in Health Science IPH - 201 Island Pre-Health III: Social Justice in Health Science 1.5 Credit(s) An introduction into how the health science field is impacted by privilege, and social, racial, and economic inequalities. Students will learn about colonial practices that affect Indigenous health and other historical practices that impact socially disadvantaged groups within the context of health and wellness. Complex and sensitive topics will be discussed to uncover biases and develop healthy strategies moving forward.
