LOG - 015 Coastal Log Scaling-Theory LOG - 015 Coastal Log Scaling-Theory The program prepares the participant for the Ministry of Forests theoretical Coastal Log Scaling Examination. It includes familiarization with the industry, theory of log measurement, review of necessary math skills, use of scale sticks and recording scale sheets or slips, maintenance of equipment, identification of commercial log species and scaler safety.
