MAT - 181 Calculus I MAT - 181 Calculus I 3 Credit(s) Calculus I and II together comprise a 1st-year course in calculus. MAT 181-Differential calculus of both algebraic and transcendental functions. Topics include: limits and continuity, the derivative-definition, rules, implicit differentiation; applications-curve sketching, maximum-minimum and related rates problems; differentials; antiderivatives. Students will learn how to use a computer algebra system in the lab to enhance their understanding of calculus concepts.
