SSW - 205 Introduction to Group Work Practice SSW - 205 Introduction to Group Work Practice 3 Credit(s) This course explores theoretical foundations and applied approaches to working with groups. Students will examine effective group leadership and the interpersonal relationships that shape group dynamics, while developing skills in facilitation, collaboration, and participation within groups and professional teams. Emphasis is placed on understanding diverse leadership styles, practicing inclusive and respectful communication, and applying intercultural and local Indigenous perspectives in group settings.
