WST - 101 Issues in Women’s Health WST - 101 Issues in Women’s Health 3 Credit(s) The first year level course provides an introduction to women’s health issues from a feminist perspective. Some historical perspectives and the underlying socio-political and economic context of health, as well specific health issues that impact women are explored. Relationships are drawn between patriarchy, capitalism, the medicalization of women’s health issues and the impact on women’s reproductive and human rights.
