EDUC 240 - Social Issues in Education Add to My NLC Calendar EDUC 240 - Social Issues in Education (3.0 credits) This course introduces students to a number of contemporary social issues in the field of education. In addition to reviewing the general social functions of schools, we will also focus on selected themes and issues, including: race/ethnicity, gender, class, and (dis)ability. Other topics may be explored depending on student interest on and on legal and political developments at the time of delivery. ~
