BIOS 205 — Plant Biology
Survey of the plant kingdom. Anatomy, physiology, taxonomy, evolution, and ecology of vascular and non-vascular plants. Emphasis on functions of specialized cell types and plant parts. Importance of photosynthesis, water absorption, translocation, growth differentiation, and reproduction. Includes laboratory, greenhouse, and field work. Prereq. - BIOS 103 or 107.
