DMSG 106 — Vascular Technology - Anatomy, Physiology, Imaging & Critique I

<p>This introductory course will expose the learner to the fundamental principles of diagnostic testing of the cerebrovascular and peripheral vascular systems. Topics that will be emphasized include extracranial cerebrovascular imaging, non-invasive peripheral arterial and venous testing. Identification of relevant normal anatomy, pathology, and hemodynamics are explored utilizing B-mode, color flow Doppler, and spectral Doppler waveform analysis. Pre- or Co-req: BIOS 204. Restricted to DMS students.</p>
