DMSG 117 — Cardiac Procedures Clinical Education

<p><span><span>This introductory clinical experience in the cardiac health care setting builds upon the foundation provided by classroom lectures </span><span>regarding</span><span> noninvasive cardiac procedures and includes vital signs, heart sounds, 12 lead ECG, Holter monitoring, pacemaker evaluation, and exercise stress testing. This clinical rotation </span><span>provides</span><span> the students the opportunity to practice and </span><span>demonstrate</span><span> skills of the various diagnostic and testing measures in a standard cardiovascular laboratory.</span></span><span><span> </span></span><span><span>This course will encompass </span><span>120 hours</span><span> of clinical education. </span>Restricted to DMS students.<span> </span></span><span> </span></p>
