<p><span>This course is a hands-on application of sonographic scanning procedures in a hospital or outpatient setting under the supervision of an appropriately credentialed technologist. Observation, </span><span>assistance</span><span> and performance of sonographic examinations and tests including </span><span>vascular system and vascular </span><span>structures following sonographic examination protocols; production and interpretation of normal and pathological sonograms of each area; film critique a critical </span><span>component</span><span>. This course encompasses </span><span>448</span><span> clinical hours. Restricted to DMS students.</span></p>
