DMSG 223 — Abdominal & Vascular Clinical Education III

<p><span><span>This course is a continued hands-on a</span><span>pplication of sonographic scanning procedures in a hospital or outpatient setting under the supervision of an appropriately credentialed </span><span>technologist. Independent scanning and performance of tests when competency has been demonstrated with emphasis on vascular, abdominal and superficial structures, following sonographic examination protocols; </span><span>production and interpretation of normal and pathological sonograms of each area; film critique a critical component. This course encompasses 240 clinical hours. Restricted to DMS students. </span></span><span> </span></p>
