ENTR 101 — Entrepreneurial Mindset
<p><span>This interdisciplinary course introduces students to </span><span>"</span><span>mindsets</span><span>"</span><span> and explores the core components of an entrepreneurial mindset. Students develop</span><span> the</span><span> key entrepreneurial habits of curiosity, observation, opportunity recognition, experimentation, adaptation, and problem</span><span>-</span><span>solving. Students shape their ideas into innovative solutions through </span><span>"</span><span>design thinking</span><span>"</span><span> projects while learning new skills, including interviewing, brainstorming, prototyping and iteration. Students learn that mistakes contain valuable learning experiences and the importance of self-reliance, resourcefulness, </span><span>creativity, role models, and</span><span> comfort with ambiguity. These entrepreneurial skills and behaviors help students create successful lives by expanding options for any major </span><span>or </span><span>vocational path.</span></p>
