ESLL 025 — ESL College Success

This course focuses on helping English language learners integrate into the US Higher Education environment. This course examines goal setting, cultural adjustment, college policies, graduation requirements, campus resources, programs and services, student rights and responsibilities, student education planning and other topics as needs are identified. Designed for advanced English language learners, this course enhances the transition into American society and maximizes the successful matriculation through college. This course continues to build skills in grammar usage, reading, and writing in the US classroom. In addition, students complete 15 hours outside of class using ESL software in the ESL computer lab as part of the requirements for this course. Prereq.- English language competence as determined by the ESL department faculty.
