HOSP 230 — Meeting and Event Management
<p>This course covers theoretical and practical foundations for event management. Students will examine venues and components of managing a successful meeting or event. Students will examine alternatives in various topics in relation to event technology, security/risk management, financial management, sustainability, and site plan/inspection. Students will engage in learning theory and practice of service fundamentals through a lab experience to perform management decision making.</p>
