OSAH 105 — Introduction to Workplace Safety
<p><span><span>This course </span><span>provides</span><span> an overview of the </span><span>concerns and </span><span>issues </span><span>related to occupational safety and health</span><span>.</span><span> </span><span> </span><span>It will introduce </span><span>the </span><span>1970 </span><span>Occupational Safety and </span><span>Health Act and associated regulations and standards</span><span>. </span><span> </span><span>Discussion will include the impacts of workplace safety and health efforts related to employer requirements to </span><span>provide</span><span> a safe and healthy workplace. Hazards identification and mitigation are included in the discussion as regulatory compliance is explored within organizational policies and procedures. </span></span><span> </span></p>
