<p>This course focuses on the application of psychomotor competencies and clinical proficiencies essential to becoming a sports medicine or rehabilitation sciences professional. As an introductory course, content emphasizes developing skills in injury prevention, injury and illness assessment, and using appropriate terminology and medical documentation to record injury and illness. Restricted to Sports Medicine majors. Prereq.- SMAT 101 with C or better; Pre- or Coreq. - BIOS 204; Coreq.- SMAT 230. Offered spring semester only.</p>
