RT282 — Clinical Practice in Computed Tomography I
Sequentially develop, apply, critically analyze, integrate, synthesize and evaluate concepts and theories in the performance of computed tomography procedures. Through competency-based clinical assignments, apply and evaluate concepts of team practice, patient-centered clinical practice and professional development. Provide patient care and assessment, competent performance of computed tomography imaging and total quality management. Levels of competency and outcomes measurement ensure the well-being of the patient prior, during, and following the computed tomography procedure. Assisting and performing examinations of the head, spine, extremities, neck, chest, abdomen, and pelvis under the appropriate level of supervision. This course is intended for those who are not currently working in computed tomography. Clinical requirements will be completed at an affiliated healthcare facility during unpaid time.
