AUT 223 — Manual Drive Train & Axles
Consists of theory and operation of the manual transmission alongwith diagnosis, removal, repair and replacement of the clutch, manualshift transmissions (conventional and trans axle), drive line and finaldrive assembly. Transfer cases, four-wheel drive and all-wheel drivesystems will be diagnosed and repaired along with drive shafts andrelated parts. This is a 7.5 week course. Prerequisite: AUT 214 orinstructor’s permission.
