Focuses on principles of nonacademic spoken and written expressionthat will help the student succeed in a business occupation.Concentrates on the practical written and oral applications ofcommunication theory in the forms of business correspondence,memoranda, employment-related documents and oral presentations.The class also includes technological applications and ethical andcross-cultural considerations in business communication practices.Other interpersonal communication topics that may be discussed arenonverbal communication, listening skills, telephone skills andbusiness etiquette. Prerequisite: ENG 111
