ECE 205 — Children’s Literature
Emphasis is placed on the creation of an environment that supportsthe development of emergent literacy and encourages youngchildren’s exploration and enjoyment of literature. Experiences willinclude the development of reading centers; storytelling; creativedramatics; and evaluation, selection and presentation of age-appropriate reading materials. Students will directly explore a varietyof children’s literature appropriate for use in early childhood settings.
