EMS 130 — AEMT-Skills Seminar
This course can serve as a refresher course for those who are currentlylicensed Advanced EMTs or advancing license to Paramedics, as wellas students who wish to become nationally certified at the AEMT level.Students will review and practice all AEMT skills in an interactiveseminar format. Multiple case studies, interactive lab sessions, andcreative teaching methods are used, concluding with mandatory skillsand written testing to assure mastery of topics, prior to sitting for theNREMT – AEMT exams. This is a pass/fail course. Prerequisite: EMS114; Corequisite: EMS 126.
