EMS 246 — Leadership in EMS

This course serves to provide the student with a deeper understandingof the major components and principles of a leadership role, as well asadapting to the changing role of the EMS provider. The student willlearn different styles of leadership and investigate the qualities of asuccessful leader. Students will develop a comprehensiveunderstanding of public relations, education, medical direction and theirroles in the advancement of a stronger EMS system. Prerequisite:Current EMS licensure.
