MDA 223 — Medical Assisting Externship
This is a 5-credit course that requires students to complete 165 unpaidhours of clinical externship within an ambulatory care setting. Duringthe 165 unpaid hours, students will perform the administrative andclinical competencies that they have learned in the classroom andlaboratory while under professional supervision. Upon completion ofthis course, students should be able to function as an entry levelmedical assistant. Prerequisites: ALH 220, BIO 114, and MDA 213
