WEI 138 — Structural Welding II
This course provides the student with the practice time required toprepare for The American Welding Society’s Structural WelderCertification. The student will be given the opportunity to further developtheir skills in the shielded metal arc welding process usingE7018 electrodes. Students will work on 3/8 steel plate in the 3G and 4Gpositions. Safe handling of equipment, supplies and overall shop safetyis strongly emphasized. Prerequisite: WEI 137
