WTT 121 — Wastewater Treatment I
This course will provide an introduction to the operation ofwastewater treatment plants. The course will begin with a look atdifferent aspects of wastewater treatment to include: wastewatercharacteristics, preliminary treatment, primary treatment, biologicaltreatment, wastewater treatment ponds, fixed film treatment,activated sludge, nutrient removal, and disinfection. This course willprepare students for the State of Maine DEP Grade I & II WastewaterTreatment Plant Operator License Exam.
