AGRI 1124 — INTRODUCTION TO ANIMAL SCIENCES

An introduction to production systems for the meat animal species: cattle, sheep, goats, swine and poultry. This Page 168 course will examine global animal production, end-products and grading standards, an overview of the different breeds of livestock, biological aspects of production, and an introduction to management practices for each of the various species. (Fall only)
