ASTR 1523 — PLANETARY SCIENCE
Origin and evolution of the solar system is studied, along with characteristics of terrestrial planetary atmospheres. Course also reviews characteristics of gas giant planets and ice moons, asteroids, and comets, as well as discoveries and characteristics of extra-solar planetary systems abd aspects of colonization. (Meets 3 credit hours of general education science requirement but not lab science requirement.) Offered spring semester only. BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE
