ENGR119 — Engineering/CS FYE Seminar

This course is designed to provide first-year engineering and computer science students a community in which they develop the habits and practices of effective college citizens and make meaningful connections to those habits and practices to be successful in science and math contexts. It will also provide students with an opportunity to cultivate intellectual curiosity in order to foster critical thinking skills, define STEM academic pathways, and develop applied science career readiness skills. Emphasis is on active engagement in learning processes through self-reflection, peer interaction, and engagement with the campus community and resources.
