THEA116 — Basics of Performance II
A continuation of THEA 115, this course deepens students' acting techniques through advanced scene work, character development, and ensemble collaboration. Lecture sessions emphasize text analysis, subtext, and motivation, while lab sessions focus on rehearsal, performance, and critique. Students explore contemporary material, applying vocal, physical, and emotional techniques in performance. Attendance at a minimum number of theatrical productions (as specified in the syllabus) is required.
