Pre-Microbiology/Medical Technology AS
The Pre-Microbiology/Medical Technology program is designed for students who desire professional careers in applications of control and diagnosis of diseases, agriculture, food technology, genetic engineering, environmental/pollution control, clinical lab work in hospitals, public health and research labs, and in industrial and pharmaceutical laboratories. Completion of the following coursework results in an associate degree with an area of emphasis in Pre-Microbiology/Medical Technology. The required coursework normally fulfills the first half of baccalaureate degree requirements in Microbiology/Medical Technology.
