Social Work AA
This program is for students planning to transfer to a bachelor's degree program in social work (BSW). Career opportunities in social work include social services at federal, state, and local levels; health care social work in nursing homes, hospitals, and outpatient care facilities; mental health facilities; children and youth services; aging services casework; rehabilitation counseling; juvenile detention; family services; pre-adoption investigation; drug and alcohol counseling; group home casework and counseling; and employee assistance counseling. Completion of the following courses results in an associate's degree and meets the general core requirements at Idaho public universities. The
