This course introduces students to the concepts needed to develop and maintain a sound personal financial plan. Topics include building a personal financial statement, applying time value concepts, managing money and credit, and understanding bank interest rates as related to auto and home loans. Students will also examine various investment strategies, learn about asset allocations and build a model personal investment portfolio. Fulfills open elective.
