Students completing this course should be able to: identify a director's responsibilities in various types of agencies serving children and plan strategies to meet them; design a program to meet the needs of children being served that is in compliance with the state's licensing rules and regulations; develop a system of communication involving the home, school, and community that makes use of effective interpersonal skills, and design a method for evaluating both staff and programs.
