HRT209 — Cannabis Retail Product Development & Management
Understanding the relationship between cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system is integral to product development. Students will learn the properties of various cannabis strains, potency, and how consumption methods interact with users. Extraction methods for cannabinoid compounds, including THC, CBD, CBN, and CBG, will be covered in depth. Additionally, packing, labeling, and tracking requirements will be covered. (2 hours of lecture, 2 hours of lab per week)
