MDA110 — Film and Popular Culture
After an introduction to the film medium, students examine the relationship between American film and popular culture from 1940 to the present. For each decade, students examine representative films, historical events, and popular culture trends to discover how films and American popular culture influence each other. Fulfills open, liberal arts, and humanities electives.
