MDA116 — Introduction to Digital Filmmaking

This course provides an introduction to the techniques of single camera digital filmmaking. Topics include camera operation and shot composition and orchestration, pre-production and post-production planning, basic lighting and audio techniques, and training in non-linear editing software. Theory and practice are demonstrated through a diversity of fiction and non-fiction project assignments.
