MET230 — Tools and Measurement
This course presents basic designs for tool and holders in modern manufacturing. Emphasis is on tool entry and exit paths and chip removal. An introduction to metrology shows the construction and usage of tools for the inspection of machined parts. (3 hours of lecture per week)
