A listening course designed for all students which follows the history and development of music from 1810 to the present day. No previous background in music is necessary and is not a prerequisite. A study of various historically significant works which seeks to identify what to listen for in music and emphasizes the aesthetic experience. Fulfills open, liberal arts, and humanities electives.
