Active Student Status and Enrollment in Closed Programs North Shore Community College students who have matriculated in a program maintain an active status by registering in courses consistently. Students who choose not to register for classes for at least two years from the time of their last enrollment must reapply to the college before re-enrolling. If the program in which they were matriculated at the time of their last enrollment is no longer offered by the college (as determined by the active Catalog at the time of return), they must apply under a new program or may choose to return as a non-matriculated student.
