Add to Personal Catalog Introduces the student to the roles of the police and the specific field of law enforcement. Topics include the historical origin of the police, the nature and styles of police organizations, an overview of the development and functioning of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, the nature of police work, and patterns and issues of community and police relationships.
