CRMJ1101 — Criminal Justice First Year Seminar

Add to Personal Catalog The Criminal Justice First Year Seminar course applies a “seminar-style” teaching to a learning community setting that is focused around a degree and career in Criminal Justice. This three-credit course is open to first year students. The course provides an intellectual and social transition to the college under the guidance of faculty/staff instructors in a small classroom environment of 15 or fewer students. The course encourages students to actively participate in their learning through critical inquiry; listening and contributing to class discussion; the class is designed to assist the student in developing skills that will the student succeed in college and their chosen career field.
