Add to Personal Catalog This course will examine various issues involved in victimology including: the extent of victimization in the United States, victimization theories, controversies over shared responsibility, violent and property crime victims, intimate versus stranger violence, child and family violence, rape and sexual assault, and other additional groups of victims and the criminal justice system’s response to victimization and restorative justice.
