EDEC2010 — Special Education for Children Birth to 8
Add to Personal Catalog Students acquire an understanding of the importance of inclusion, early intervention, service coordination, and support for families and children in order to provide a seamless system of services for early childhood special education from birth to eight. Students will examine research-based information regarding best practices and the Individual with Disability Education Act (IDEA). They will also explore in-depth methods being employed by early interventionists. (3 hrs lec)
