EMS2700 — Paramedic II

Add to Personal Catalog Incorporating pathophysiology and epidemiology into decision making, the candidate is introduced to more advanced paramedicine with the formation of treatment plans for medical patients and understanding the kinetics and homeostatic requirements of trauma patients. Paramedic students will accomplish prescribed clinical hours in keeping with the highest national standard. Paramedic II students will be expected to attend 96 hours of lecture, 80 hours of lab, and 164 hours of clinical experience. Prerequisite: Grade of “B-” or higher in EMS 2600 (96 hrs lec, 80 hrs lab, 164 hrs cln)
