NURS2300 — Professional Nursing Care of Patient with Acute Illness
Add to Personal Catalog This semester introduces the learner to the patient and family with acute illness using the concepts of health promotion, safety, clinical judgment, leadership, patient centeredness, and professionalism. Learners will use caring behaviors, therapeutic communication and advocacy when providing care to patients with acute illness across the lifespan. The learner will facilitate the effectiveness of the inter-professional healthcare team. The patient and family lived experience is emphasized. (4hrs lec, 5hrs clinical)
