Add to Personal Catalog This course provides a complete introduction to avalanche terrain, decision making, and rescue protocol. The course is designed for those new to travel in avalanche terrain. Instruction will increase avalanche awareness and safety for participants in all forms of winter recreation: snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. (1 hr lec/lab)
