Youth & Family Certificate | Northcentral Technical College The Youth and Family Certificate program prepares learners through the practical application of skills to support children, youth, and families in a variety of community and human services settings. Learners develop knowledge in lifespan development, child maltreatment, family systems and dynamics, crisis response, and professional self-care. Coursework emphasizes professional approaches that value the unique experiences and strengths of individuals and families. This program is designed for learners who are working with or interested in working with children, youth, and families across diverse communities.
